MDI Murshidabad commences Management Development Programme on “Cross-Functional Leadership in Diversified Workplace”
MDI Murshidabad successfully commenced a Management Development Programme (MDP) on “Cross-Functional Leadership in Diversified Workplace” for the Mid-level managers of ECL. Three days training program scheduled between 10-12 September 2024 was successfully commenced at MDI Murshidabad Campus on 10th September.
This MDP’s primary goal is to improve participants’ cross-functional leadership skills, styles and strategies to handle cross-functional team while dealing in fast changing environment. This would help them to improve their team of talent cohort members representing various functional areas with complementary skill sets, as well as their mutual understanding and adaptability. Their newly gained skills will help them navigate the fast-paced environment and the various expectations of the stakeholders. By adjusting to the changing environment, advocating for change, and leading innovative projects, they would be capable of achieving increased productivity inside an organisation. They would be equipped to lead from the front with empathy and care, taking morale and moral decisions into consideration. Higher performance can be attained both personally and within the organisation as a result.
The experiential learning exercises will enable the participants to reflect and cultivate Effective Leadership skills. The well curated course design stresses on application-based exercises and interactive sessions to accelerate the trainees’ learning curve.
The Programme Director of the Programme is Dr. Niharika Gaan.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Debasis Chanda, Acting Director-MDI Murshidabad, and Dr. Niharika Gaan, Chairperson-Continuous Education.
