Orientation Programme for 6th PGPM 2019-21 Batch (17 – 21 June 2019)
MDI Murshidabad welcomes the batch of 2019-21. The batch has been embarked on a journey of pure growth from the very first day of the Orientation Programme starting from June 17, 2019 onwards. The Orientation Programme has been graced upon with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, followed by the a very warm and gracious welcome to the respected dignitaries. The event became more propitious when the newly MDIM Grads have been exposed to the limitless horizon to enhance and grow as our Hon’ble Director Prof. Atmanand took his gracious time out and shared his words of inspiration and showcased the quality of being sagacious.
We were honoured to have Mr. Anil Kariwala (Founder and CEO of Kariwala Industries Limited) as Chief Guest and Mr. Rahul Bose (Global Manager- Learning and Knowledge, IBM) as Guest of Honour, who could take their time out to grace their presence and addressed the batch of 2019-21 whom has been getting the thirty thousand feet view of the application of the knowledge in real fast paced world of corporates, which they will engulf on their tenure of next two years. They enlightened the students on a plethora of topics and how to develop oneself as a brand and to lead the life of a better human being by implying the ideologies in real life as well. They also put stress on the fact that one should always be on the same page as the world is throughout their career so as to be above the edges once in comparison with their fellow managers.
The Orientation Programme have also been made more decorous through the presence of Prof. Debasis Chanda (Dean-Academic, MDI Murshidabad) and Prof. Sunil Giri (PGP Chairperson, MDI Murshidabad) when they took the batch for a mild ride through their compassionate words of percipience which helped to open the gateway for becoming the Next thought leaders and change masters, and analyse the expectations of organizations from a managers of sublime B-School across the length and breadth of the corporate world. The day went along with an informative and interactive session wherein the students were inspired by the simple concept of “Never Stop Learning”.
