Online MDP on Business analytics for Managers.
MDIM launched its 3 Days 12 Hours online MDP on Business analytics for Managers, for the Executives, Academicians, Entrepreneurs, Research Scholars, Management Students and all interested in data sciences.
The programme was inaugurated on 24th September 2020. The program had four main objectives:
1. Use data for enhanced and effective decision and improve accuracy, efficiency, response time and help measure accomplishments against overall goals,
2. Understand customers better, drive performance and revenue, and improve operational efficiency and much more,
3. To find meaningful trends, patterns, relationships and other useful information from data, and
4. To learn a variety of methods, from simple to complex and to analyze data sets helping uncover important information for enhanced decision making.
Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand, Director-MDI Murshidabad graced the occasion by his august presence through web and inaugurated the event. In his inaugural address, he welcomed all participants from reputed organizations and thanked them for showing faith in MDIM. He also elaborated that online MDPs are continuation of MDIM’s initiative to cope up with the surrounding disruption and take advantage of the unprecedented growth of technology. He stated that this programme has its focus on numerical analysis and is data driven which will help for better decision making. MDIM with its state of the art infrastructure like Bloomberg Lab has introduced various cutting edge programmes like- Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, Business analytics etc. He also emphasised that MDIM strives to impart ethical value based education and make every student, change masters and thought leaders. Dr. Amrita Sengupta, the Programme Director stressed upon the fact that this programme on Business Analytics for Managers will be a data driven, numerical analysis based one which will enhance not only the decision making abilities but also responsiveness of the participants. Also the program will enhance their Data analysis skills using R. Since the decision making will be more data driven, it will provide more accuracy and also improve technical and business skills of the participants.
