MDIM COGNOS – THE RESEARCH SEMINAR SERIES COMMENCED

MDIM COGNOS, a monthly research seminar series to exchange research ideas, starting from December 2021 was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand, Director, MDI Murshidabad.

Invited speaker Dr. Hishmi Jamil Husain, Head Biodiversity & Sustainability – Tata Steel discussed the megatrends of Environment Management, Biodiversity Conservation, and Sustainable Development. He also elaborated on the significance of researcher and corporate collaboration for a sustainable future. Post discussion, a quiz was organized on the “Sustainability and Business- Research Scope and Opportunities by TATA Steel on the online platform, Kahoot. MDI Murshidabad congratulates Swarit Grover, Aman Kumar, and Roshan Gupta, who emerged as winners of the quiz. TATA Steel will also be offering an internship opportunity to the students of MDI Murshidabad.

MDIM COGNOS aspires to create a global platform for the exchange of research ideas. The series also aims to generate a momentum of industry-oriented research-based problems by identifying real-world problems and seeking and deciphering tentative solutions.
