About Us
The Office of International Relations (OIR) is the face of MDI Murshidabad to the world outside India and strives for partnership in global education. MDI-M engages students across the globe by offering authentic learning experiences of cross-cultural leadership and uniquely designed learning modules. Realising the importance of globalisation, OIR aims to establish a global network in the world of academics and research and provide an international perspective to the students of MDI-M.
Goals:
- To facilitate collaboration with international institutions.
- To negotiate agreements with international partners to:
- Provide new teaching and research opportunities for MDI-M academia.
- Plan, execute and review projects in different areas including student exchange, industry visits, academic conferences and training.
- To execute all the necessary consular services like passport and visa application for foreign academia and corporates visiting MDI-M.
- To handle the administrative/secretarial work necessary to facilitate trainings and site visits in foreign countries by MDI-M academia.
- To conduct student and faculty exchange programs which would assist in adopting a pedagogy having a global hue in the Indian context.
- To ensure that MDI-M’s global activities are consistent with MDI’s teaching and research mission and policies.
