Solar power is a revolution that is sweeping across the country and the world. India is particularly well suited to solar power due to its high solar radiation and generation potential. Using a source of renewable energy helps not only the Institute but also the contiguous neighbourhood. Installing solar lights enables the Institute to run on clean energy while also combating greenhouse gas emissions and global warming.
MDI Murshidabad has taken its first step in going green.
