Mdi Murshidabad conducted International Conference on Sustainable Development- A Value Chain Perspective (SDVP 23)

Keeping with the tone of these words, MDI Murshidabad inaugurated the 3rd International Conference based around the theme of Sustainable Development- A Value Chain Perspective (SDVP 23) on 3rd and 4th Feb 2023. The event commenced with welcoming the Chief Guest CMDE Ajay Kumar Jolly, Chairman and Managing Director of Jute Corporation of India (JCI), along with the other dignitaries.

The conference witnessed several research papers from academicians, faculty, and students in the domains of Marketing, Finance, Operations, and HR from India and Abroad. A handicraft fair was where local vendors and artisans displayed the handloom treasures of the region.

On the final day, there was a cultural evening where our students, children from NGOs, and other artists came together to showcase their talent. The conference closed with a Valedictorian session where our Keynote speaker Dr. Murali Kanakasabai addressed the audience. The main sponsors for this event were Pearson, JCI, KPMG, and PNB.
