MDI Murshidabad organized an e-workshop on “Digital Access Brokers: Tools to Explore Open Access Resources” on June, 19, 2021. The resource person of the workshop was Prof.Parthasarathi Mukhopadhyay, Professor, Department of Library and Information Science, Kalyani University.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof.(Dr.) Atmanand, Director, MDI Murshidabad. He spoke about MDI’s role in fostering a knowledge centric culture in business as well as in the wider society. Around 500 participants from India and abroad participated in the workshop. International Participation took place from countries like Bangladesh, Mali, Nigeria, Philippines, United Arab Emirates, United States, Zambia etc.
Prof. Parthasarathi spoke about various open access platforms that can be used effectively for high quality research.The topics included accessing high quality research papers in open access platforms, referencing, access to date etc. The workshop was well received by the participants.
It was a knowledge sharing event organized by MDIM Business Review (the peer reviewed journal of MDI Murshidabad). The event was coordinated by Dr.Souvik Banerjee( Editor) and Mr.Jogen Sharma (Journal Assistant).
