MDIM COGNOS – The Research Seminar Series Commenced

On the second edition of MDIM COGNOS, a monthly research seminar series to exchange research ideas, MDI Murshidabad had the privilege to host Dr. Anil Kumar to discuss Systemic Approach To Conduct Empirical Analysis. He is the Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor), Guildhall School of Business and Law, Metropolitan University (LMU), London, U.K.

Dr. Anil Kumar emphasised the need to conduct empirical research in a very systemic manner so that all the findings based on that can be used comprehensively. He also discussed the important steps of conducting systematic empirical research along with a sustainable strategy close-loop model for conducting factual research. Apart from these strategies and methods, he highlighted the key sustainable drivers for conducting research both quantitatively and qualitatively. On closing thoughts, Dr. Anil explained about Research Excellence Framework (REF) and how research outcomes are to be viewed.

MDIM COGNOS launched under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand, Director, MDI Murshidabad, aspires to create a global platform for the exchange of research ideas. The series also aims to generate a momentum of industry-oriented research-based problems by identifying real-world problems and seeking and deciphering tentative solutions.
