Online “Certificate Course on General Management”

MDI Murshidabad launched its Certificate Program in General Management designed for working professionals who are transitioning towards leadership roles. The program was inaugurated on 8th January 2022. The focus of the program is on advanced general management techniques, frameworks, methodologies, and tools, with an emphasis on inculcating exemplary leadership in challenging managerial decision-making situations. Participants from PSUs and Corporates are the major participants of this short-term course.

Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand, Director-MDI Murshidabad graced the occasion with his August presence through the web and inaugurated the event. He inaugurated the course with a powerful message to all the participants from the renowned organizations and expressed his thanks for being a part of the MDI Murshidabad’s Continuing Education viz. a lifelong learning journey. He also reiterated that MDIM hones the participants’ skills by following the CNNG mantra (connect, network, nurture, and grow). He also emphasized that MDIM strives to make every student, change masters and thought leaders. He also expressed that the vision for MDIM is to become an internationally renowned business school that rejuvenates the knowledge and career of the participants of its courses.

Dr. Biranchi Narayan Swar, Dean-Continuing Education addressed the need for lifelong learning and knowledge sharing in his inaugural speech. Program Directors for the Certificate Program, Dr. Souvik Banerjee, Dr. Bikramjit Pal, Dr. Neeraj Singhal, and Dr. Ravi Shankar Bhakat have focused on the cross-functional aspect of this short-term course. The participants have been enabled with a perfect learning pathway to develop core competencies across eight management disciplines viz. Marketing, Finance and Accounting, People Management, Operations Management, Economics, Quantitative Techniques, Strategy, and IT.
