Online MDP on Finance for Non-Finance.
MDIM launched its 3 Days 12 Hours online MDP on Finance for Non-Finance, for executives particularly from non-finance background such as Heads of Divisions/Functions and Middle level Managers, Engineers, technical, software professionals and generalist officers.
The programme was inaugurated on 7th September 2020. The program aims to provide the Participants- 1. Provide the knowledge of -Finance and accounting with a view to develop their decision-making ability 2.To enables the non-finance executives to understand the implications of finance and interpretation of financial statements 3. To understand the various aspects of Financial planning and control like cost information for problem solving, time value of money and capital budgeting for decision making and 4.To understand the day-to-day finance requirement of business through working capital management.
Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand, Director-MDI Murshidabad graced the occasion by his august presence through web and inaugurated the event. In his inaugural address, he elaborated that online MDPs are continuation of MDIM’s initiative to cope up with the surrounding disruption and take advantage of the unprecedented growth of technology. He emphasised that focus of the programme is to bring awareness about responsibilities and contribution through financial data and help the organizations to move up in growth line but also imparting courage and dedication to move forward in life. He also emphasised that MDIM strives to make every student, change masters and thought leaders. He also informed during this pandemic time how MDIM has taken various online initiatives like Online certificate course on management, online MDPs, Webinars, Corporate talk series. He also expressed that we at MDIM rejoice in becoming the originators, the implementers and the evaluators of changes around us.
Dr. Pinku Paul and Dr. Paroma Mitra, the Programme Directors informed that the focus of the programme is imparting knowledge of finance, its importance for growth of organization, understand cash-flow statements, financial position of organizations giving better decision making abilities for managers of organization and use the comprehensive knowledge for taking better decisions for their organizations.
