Online MDP on “Finance for Non-Finance Executives” (30th July – 1st August 2020)

Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand, Director-MDI Murshidibad graced the occasion by his august presence through web and inaugurated the event. He emphasised on the importance of skill enhancement of corporate executives, in the post Covid19 economic scenario. He also elaborated that Financial Planning and Analysis is a multi-faceted discipline where one requires knowledge of economic and industry analysis, understanding of financial statements as well as knowledge of statistics for forecasting practices.

Dr. Souvik Banerjee, the Programme Director of the MDP informed that the objective of this course was to make participants well equipped to understand the nuances of financial planning and analysis. In the process participants will be exposed to tools and techniques most widely used for this purpose. This topic is especially pertinent in today’s uncertain business environment. He also informed that industry practitioner from the relevant discipline would enrich the MDP.
