Webinar: Investing Journey of Dr. Vijay Kedia and top 10 mistakes to avoid while investing in stock markets
At some point or the other, most of us have thought to start investing. We are often allured by the idea of high returns especially when one is a beginner. The most crucial aspect of investing is to completely understand what we are getting into instead of just chasing returns. Although the stock market has the potential of fetching high returns but this is possible only when we don’t fall into the common pitfalls. To throw more light on this, Dr. Vijay Kedia will address the students of MDI Murshidabad on the topic “Investing Journey of Dr. Vijay Kedia and Top 10 mistakes to avoid while investing in stock markets.”
Dr. Vijay Kishanlal Kedia is an Indian investor-trader. He and his company – Kedia Securities Pvt. Ltd., are the largest shareholder (after the promoter) in several listed companies.
Dr. Kedia entered into the family business of trading and stock broking to run the family during his early age. He never liked broking thus left his family’s stock-broking business after three years and started doing his own trading without any success. In 2004 and 2005, he identified and invested in three such shares (Atul auto, Aegis logistics, Cera sanitary ware) which appreciated more than 100 times in next 10 to 12 years. In early 2012, he correctly predicted that India was at the beginning of a structural bull run. He has been described by the Economic Times as a “market master”. He was featured at in Business World list of Successful Investors In India. In 2017, “MoneyLife Advisory” launched an “Ask Vijay Kedia microsite”. In 2017 Vijay Kedia’s portfolio stocks rose up to 170%. He has also been invited to speak at London Business School and TEDx.
Dr. Kedia strictly adheres to SMILE as a principle in investing; which translates into Small in size, Medium in experience, Large in aspiration and Extra-large in market potential.
MDI Murshidabad is honoured and delighted to host Dr. Vijay Kedia and looking forward to an insightful session from the market master as delineated by the Economic Times.
